My Toddler’s Amazon Wish List

My Toddler’s Amazon Wish List

Hey there, mamas, and welcome back to Monday's blog post! As we approach the holiday season, I find myself being asked more and more what my children want for Christmas, (mainly in regards to my 2 1/2 year old toddler!) I try to be intentional about the toys we bring into our home, so it's always nice when someone asks what our kids would like! (But, don’t get me wrong, surprises are fun too!)

In today's blog post, I thought I'd share my Amazon wish list for my 2 1/2 year old son, not for the purpose of you buying him anything of course, haha! My hope is that this list can be of some help to you if you are stumped on what to buy your toddler during this busy holiday season! I try to focus on more open-ended, educational, and creative toys instead of “one and done,” as well as toys that are long-lasting and safe! Why leave the house when you can order on Amazon Prime, am I right, haha!? Maybe some of my selections will be of interest for your toddler's wish list!?

*If you’re interested in purchasing any of the items below, simply click on the PHOTO which will direct you to my affiliate link for “adding to your Amazon cart” and purchasing. Any items you buy from the links below will directly benefit my blog!

Thank you for your support and enjoy!

Kinetic Sand

My son LOVES kinetic sand! Unfortunately, ours got mixed in with some egg, and into the trash it went! I'm pretty sure it's ridiculously therapeutic too!

Kid’s Binoculars

Looking out the window is one of my son's favorite things to do. I thought these would be perfect for giving him an extra close look outside! The design seems super toddler-friendly too!

Kid Craft Everyday Heroes Play Set

My son is BIG into the whole "Policeman-Fireman" phase, so this little house was too good to be true! I love the design-- so well thought out and detailed on the inside!

Dress Up America Police Costume

We have yet to buy any costumes for my son, but these next few costumes are some of the fields of work my son seems to be most interested in right now, haha!

Melissa & Doug Fire Chief Role Play Costume Set

I can't handle the cuteness of this little outfit!!

Melissa & Doug Construction Worker Role Play Set

He's so big into construction right now that this outfit would make his jaw drop! I can just imagine him pretending to build and create while wearing this!

Melissa & Doug Food Groups

I really think I'm late to the whole "fake food" party, so when I saw Melissa & Doug had batches of food for so cheap, I just had to put them on the list!

Melissa & Doug Pounding Bench

I can see my 2 1/2 year old, or 9 month old having fun with this one!

Thoth Montessori Knobbed Cylinder Socket

These wooden knobs teach children how to use logic and determine which size knob fits where.

Skoolzy Counting Toddler Games

These apples allow learning colors, counting, alphabet, fine motor skills, and patterns! They can also function as play food!

LEGO DUPLO Police Bike

My son already has the construction, and choo choo train DUPLO LEGO set. He saw this one at the store, and went crazy!

LEGO DUPLO Fire Truck

Well, are we surprised this also intrigued him, haha!?

Peg Number Boards Wooden

I love that my son can practice hand-eye coordination, counting, and number indentification while playing with this!

Melissa & Doug Primary Lacing Beads

I've been meaning to teach my son bead lacing because it's supposed to be good for development at this age!

Stacking Peg Board Set Toy

The creativity that goes into building with these pegs really intrigues me!

BettRoom Wooden Educational Preschool

I love that this toy covers colors, shapes, hand-eye coordination, and counting!

Melissa & Doug, Let’s Play House! Dust! Sweep! Mop!

Maybe my son will stop dragging my broom all over the house if we buy him this, haha! If he finds pretending to be clean and tidy "fun," then I'm not going to stop him!

Melissa & Doug Wooden School Bus

My son loves his vehicles, but he doesn't have a school bus yet! Those bright yellow buses always catch his attention when we are driving in the car, and I know he would just love this.

Green Toys Ferry Boat

Being from New York, my son loves watching the Ferry in the ocean! I love that this can be used in the tub, or "on land."

Wooden Race Track Ramp Racer

I love the design of this car ramp, and I can just imagine my son sitting and enjoying the "cause and effect" while watching the cars go back and forth down the ramp.

The Original Toy Company Pop-Up School Bus

First off, I think this little wooden bus is THE CUTEST. Secondly, I love how the figures spring up and down, and provide for great hand-eye coordination!

Jumbo Counting Bears with Stacking Cups

My son is familiar with his colors, but I'd love to be able to sort and count together with these bears!

Rainbow Scratch Paper Art Kit for Kids

Who's child wouldn't go TO TOWN with this rainbow art pad?! I may have to steal a sheet if he gets this!

Wooden People

Different ethnicities and different occupations? Sounds like the real world to me! Love it!

I hope you enjoyed my toddler's Amazon wish list, and that you found it somewhat helpful! These are the toys I'll have my eyes on regardless of what we end up getting around the holidays. (I just can't help but make lists so I don’t forget the items I’m interested in!) If you’d like to see the toys my toddler currently has, you can find them here! What's on your child's wish list? Please state your child’s age, and the item in the comments below so the rest of us mamas can look into it :-) I will always reply! I appreciate you all so much, thank you for sharing with me as well, and until next time I wish you ALL a beautiful day!
