2023-2024 Homeschool Curriculum | The CMEC | Form 1b |Charlotte Mason

2023-2024 Homeschool Curriculum | The CMEC | Form 1b |Charlotte Mason

I’ve always dreamed of homeschooling my children, and now that the day has finally come, I feel inspired to document the journey with you all! If you are new here, I am a happy wife and SAHM to four beautiful children ranging from ages 1-6!

Today, I am sharing all of the curriculum I will be using to homeschool my Form 1b child with the CMEC (Charlotte Mason Education Center!) This year is my first official year homeschooling, and we have chosen to go full throttle with Charlotte Mason's philosophy!

I’ve linked the curriculum I will be using this year with my form 1b student in my Amazon Storefront for an easy, and accessible list! I hope you enjoy! :)

Charlotte Mason was a British educator from the turn of the 20th century who was extremely passionate about making a rich education accessible to all children no matter what their financial standing! She highly prioritized our heavenly Father, nature, good literature, and family; all things of HIGH importance to our family as well! This made jumping into Charlotte Mason a very easy choice. Her idea that children were born persons, and capable of way more than credit is given to them was a breath of fresh air.

I decided to pay the $300 yearly membership to the CMEC (Charlotte Mason Education Center), and take advantage of ALL their online resources for both children and mother-teachers who want to grow to their full potential. I’m in my first month of homeschooling, and the membership has been worth every penny! The CMEC supplied me with all the confidence needed to feel prepared in my first year teaching, and I would recommend it to anyone that is able to make the investment. I also would like to shout out some other resources with free curriculum like @ambelsideonline and @SimplyCharlotteMason.

I'm currently reviewing a Charlotte Mason Spanish curriculum and will be sharing it soon in addition to these resources!

I’m using Penny Gardner's curriculum: "Italics, Beautiful Handwriting for children" by Penny Gardner

I hope you enjoyed this look at my Charlotte Mason curriculum for the 2023-2024 homeschool year! Be sure to check out my Youtube video above for a more in depth look at each book. Stay tuned for more homeschooling content! :) See you next time!

Cool, Mom, and Collectedly Yours,
